The Wiichtelfest is a magical children’s festival full of sound, creativity, and fun, taking place on May 17 in the pedestrian zone of Ettelbrück. On this special day, the town center will be transformed into a real adventure land for kids and families.

The program features many creative and interactive workshops. The collective Potager Musical offers a unique activity where children can make a flute out of… a carrot! The association Gyrinus invites young artists to engrave their own artwork, which will then be turned into an animated film.

Sound and music play a big role too: the Waldorchester presents an immersive sound space where kids can explore musical worlds in a playful and sensory way. In addition, there will be lots of attractions such as a children’s carousel, stilt walkers, a magician, bouncy castles, and much more.

A special highlight is the design contest for the new Gucki, the little mascot that helps guide children safely to school. Every child who participates will receive a small prize.

Of course, there will also be plenty of food, drinks, and treats available throughout the day.
