SEO Pumped-storage power plant

The Stolzembourg pumped-storage power plant is a unique structure used to produce electricity. You can visit the upper basin at any time and enjoy a beautiful view from there.

The visitor gallery is currently closed. However, guided tours are still possible and can be booked via the SEO website.

The gigantic pumped-storage power plant plant in Stolzembourg is one of the biggest in Europe. High quality peak current is generated here. From nearby Mont St. Nicolas you get an excellent view of the reservoir and the whole surrounding area after climbing around 100 steps.
