Quarry "Schoofsbësch"

The "Schoofsbësch", a former quarry, forms the heart of a nature reserve. Several picnic tables, benches and a barbecue area are available here.

Quarry and paving stones were once quarried here. The mine was first developed around 1870. Various remnants from this era can still be seen, including lorries.
There are also wooden loungers on the site that invite you to linger. The ideal place for an excursion.
Several hiking trails, e.g. the Éislek Pad Gilsdorf, lead past the "Schoofsbësch".
