Viewpoint along the Escapardennes Éislek Trail

Allowing passage to the other bank, the reservoir regulates the flow of the Eastern Ourthe just before it joins the Western Ourthe at the confluence.

At this point, the view plunges down towards the valley... giving an idea of the height difference since the mill.

On 13 April 1944, an American plane, the "Joker", crashed into the side of the Crestelles hill after being hit by German forces, creating an opening in the landscape. Since then, the site has become a tourist attraction.
